Case

The Special Case No. 43/54 of the DSI accuses Thaksin Shinawatra of distributing written statements to foreign press with contents insulting or defaming the King. This case has already been filed to the Attorney-General.

On 17 June 2012, A television show “Thailand Got Talent” was criticized for broadcasting an inappropriate content. One of the contestants, Ms. Duangjai Jansuanoi, was seen topless, painting on a canvas with her bare breasts, spurring strong criticism among the public. Her act was deemed to be an obscenity rather than artistic expression.

Thaksin Shinawatra was charged with Lese Majeste law. However, the court dismissed it because the prosecutor was not a victim under the section 2(4) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The DSI Special Case No. 74/54 accuses the community radio 102.75 MHz, which has broadcasted Jatuporn's offensive/insulting speech live. Perpetrator is unknown.

The DSI Special Case No. 73/54 accuses the community radio 95.25 MHz, which has broadcasted Jatuporn's offensive/insulting speech live. Perpetrator is unknown.
