Summary

Gen.Pongsakorn Rodchompoo, a deputy leader of Future forward party shared false news post on Facebook about Deputy Prime Minister Gen. Prawit Wongsuwan. The post indicated that Prawit spent government budget around 82,000 THB for buying cups of coffee for 12,000 THB each and also claim the fake quote by Gen. Prawit saying that “it is a high-quality import, the poor cannot try this.”.

This news was spread during the election campaign. Gen.Pongsakorn claimed that he removed it within few minutes. However police from TCSD summoned and accused him of violating Computer related Crime Act Section 14(2), (5).
