Case

The Head of NCPO issued an order no. 5/2017 declared the control area over Dhammakaya Temple and its surrounding area. The order also provided special powers to the authorities including, summon persons to report.

     

On 20 February 2017, Pol Col Paisith Wongmuang Director of the Department of Special Investigation summoned 14 monks to report. Phra Dattajivo and Phra Maha Somchai  did not report themselves on time, they were then charge for defying the summon order. The two abbots report themselves to acknowledge the charge on 22 March 2017.
