Piya was accused of sending emails under the name 'Vincent Wang' with content deemed to be a defamation and threat to the King. Emails were sent to Bangkok Bank (info@bangkokbank) and other website administrators. Before this case, Piya was arrested under the lèse majesté charge in his first case and was detained during his trial.
