Case

Mr. Somchit was accused of publising an article in newspapers in the manner that damages, defames and insults the King.

The court decided to temporarily drop the charge on 17 July 2003 indicating the reason that the defendant was mentally ill and should receive a proper treatment first at Galya Institute. Should the defendant have recovered or become healthy enough to defend the case, the case will be resumed.
