Pol.Lt.Col. Komen Suphab, inquiry officer of Hua Mak Police Station request the court to issue arrest warrant against Eakkapob H. or Tang, student of the technical college who violated article 112 of the Criminal Code.

 

The court agreed and issued arrest warrant no.  2429/2556 for the police.

 

After the court issued arrest warrant. Facebook page of the Traffic Control and Command Center - Bor kor 02 posted the scan of arrest warrant, photo, address and mobile phone number of Eakkapob H. This post was shared 3,913 times.

Uthai Yodmanee, coordinator of Students and People Network for Thailand's Reform (SPNTR) demanded Jarupong Ruangsuwan ,acting Interior Minister as well as Chaturon Chaisaeng, acting Education Minister to seek for  Eakkapob H. and press charge against him.   

 

Uthai stated that this case was the big issue. Pue Thai Party and the UDD. always claimed its loyalty toward the monarchy. It is therefore, responsibility of Jarupong and Chaturon to bring in Eakkapob especially when both were present at the stadium to call upon the masses to protect the government in the same day that Eakkapob made such a statement.       

 

Uthai further stated that 

 

"The SPNTR will give Charupong and Chaturon 7 days to seek and arrest the person who committed such a crime. Should they fail to do so, both must take responsibility by resign from the acting minister posts.

 

Moreover, should Charupong and Chaturon failed to take responsibility regarding this matter. Yingluck Shinawatra, the acting Prime Minister and acting Defence Minister as the First Party List MP of Pue Thai Party need to take responsibility on behalf of them.

Around 2 AM in the morning,  unknown person threw an unidentified bomb in to the house no. 9/279 Mu 2 Subcharoen Village soi 29 Nongchok District.   

 

According to the initial investigation, the house where the incident took place belong to Eakkapob H., suspect of the Lèse-majesté case. However, when the incident occurred Eakkapob wasn't home.

 

Later on at 2 PM, Pol.Lt.Gen. Kamronwit Thoopkrajang, Bangkok Police Chief stated that he had been informed about the incident and already assigned Pol.Maj.Gen. Chanthep Saesawet, Deputy Commissioner of Metropolitan Police Bureau to be in charge of the investigation.

 

In the beginning, it was assumed that someone threw fire crackers in to the house. However, after conducted an initial investigation, the police found an explosive powder at the scene. The police therefore, need more time to conduct further investigation to identify type of the explosive.

 

Due to the sensitivity of the case, it was impossible to identify the cause of the incident, the police need to conduct further investigation. As for Eakkapob H. the owner of the house who was accused with lese majesty charge, the police is now seeking to arrest him.

After the court issued arrest warrant against Eakkapob, it was said that he had left the Kingdom. Yoswaris Chuklom (aka Jeng Dokjik) leader of the UDD revealed that Eakkapob is now in the U.S.

 

At the same time there was a photo of Eakkapob sitting in a house appeared on Social Network. Eakapob's girl friend claimed that the photo was taken in Eakkapob's house in Lebanon. However, some argued that the photo was taken in Thailand because the TV program appeared on the same photo seem to be Thai TV show. Some argued that Eakkapob is now hiding in Chaing Mai.

Eakkapob's video clip was posted on Facebook fanpage "Youlike."

 

In the video clip, Ekakapob stated that he was not in Thailand any more. He also invite those who are in the country to go for the election on 2 February 2014. 

 

In the video Eakkapob asked the People's Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC-the anti government protester) to respect the wills of majority and the principle of one man one vote. He stated that if the PDRC wish to protest it can do so by vote no. 

 

Eakkapob also raised the question, If Shinawatra family or Pue Thai Party win the election again after the election or the reform will the PDRC shut down Bangkok once again?
