Case

Mr. Sondhi Limthongkul, the Defendant 1, gave an interview to the media referring to the King's responsibility in the case of the Supreme Administrative Court's Withdrawal Order for the EGAT Privatization Act. According to the complaint, although he knew well that the King could not be held reponsible for legislation, Mr. Sondhi still made an offensive statement about him.

Mr. Chaleaw Kongtuk, the Editor of Kom Chad Luek Newspaper and the Defendant 2, was accused of composing and publishing the interview script for the Defendant 1 on his newspaper on 24 March 2006.

Both defendants denied during the investigation process.
