Summary

In 2007, BBC correspondent Jonathan Head, along with 13 Foreign Correspondents' Club of Thailand (FCCT) committee members, was charged with lèse-majesté for publicizing ex-Prime Minister's Office Minister and anti-establishment Red-shirt core member Jakrapob Penkair's speech at an FCCT event, in which Head was the moderator. Jakrapob himself was also charged with les majeste for delivering this speech.
